In one week, I sketched, designed, drafted patterns, and created this ballgown in 2005. Deciding on a "Belle" (from Disney's Beauty & the Beast) feeling, I designed a large gored & scrunched satin skirt to flow over a 5 foot hoop skirt, combined with a scrunched tissue-lame strapless & backless bodice. 
Despite managing such a large project over just one week, I paid attention to details such as matching satin covered buttons at the gathers in the skirt, a delicate hem with hem tape, bodice lining, and an invisible zipper at the side seam.
