Woodcut Print

I designed and created this 3-layer woodcut print, entitled "I am Betty Crocker" in 2006. Burlap was pressed over the woodblock to create the woven grid texture seen on the facial contours. The three layers are created from the same block, making the planning process crucial, as the original layer is destroyed to create the next layer.
